Interesting stuff Steve! I actually have a piece in the queue that also ties back to Rick Rubin but in a different way. This is a nice, different perspective that's both similar and distinct from my own in a number of ways. Particularly as I shift my focus more toward entrepreneurship I find my relationship with some of aspects of design and creative work is changing in ways that are counter to the truisms I came up on. Will be sure to link back to this once I've wrangled my own thoughts.
